Ooops Skadoops, Need a Cell Phone Repair?

What's as bad as losing your phone? Being in need of a cell phone repair, especially one on its last leg and nobody seems to know how or where to get it fixed.

The most confusing thing about getting a cell phone repaired, whether it's one where the screen is blank or crushed, has a missing or broken antenna, went swimming or the battery won't recharge, is simply understanding where to begin to get it fixed.

Nice and Slow

The Cell Phone Repair Roundabout...Sound Familiar?

It's like you call customer care and they are like go to the store, so you go to the store and they are like we don't do that here call customer care.

So you call customer care again and they are like, yeah, your cell phone can be repaired but it's out of warranty so we can't fix it. So you are like ok, well I have insurance. And they say 'oh yeah' I see that you do have insurance and even though we sold you the insurance when you bought the phone and emphatically told you it is a must we somehow failed to mention that we have absolutely nothing to do with it should you actually have a problem that qualifies to use it.

So what you need to do is call the insurance company and wait a gazillion hours on hold for someone to pick up the line and ask you DID YOU EVER DROP THE PHONE?

Oh, I see, you need it repaired, but your insurance doesn't cover that. So in rage and anger you throw it against the wall and it breaks and you call back and say...It appears that I won't be needing my cell phone repaired anymore...because it's broken to pieces.

So the representative asks did you call customer care, because we can only handle lost or stolen or damaged beyond repair. Warranty has to determine whether or not it can be fixed.

So you get mad and throw your phone down the sewer. You call back and say that you lost it. So the insurance company asks-

Did you file a police report?

So you call the police and after the officer on desk duty stops laughing he says we are not taking a report for THAT! Well did you try non-emergency police, lol?

Fix It Already

Sadly my friend...that is no joke. If you have ever had a cell phone in need of repair, I know you have lived it first hand. If you have not, I hope that you never have to experience it. This section of the website is developed to help you get through all the drama before it actually escalates to that level.
